Working with GS46 Tech
How does working together work?
You tell me what you need with the short form on the contact page. It takes about a minute. I reply within 24 hours. I write down the scope and the price before any work starts. Then I do the work myself, you review it, and after launch I keep it current and report what it did.
Do I own my website if GS46 Tech builds it?
Yes. You own the content, the design and the code. If you ever want to move your site somewhere else, I will help with a clean hand-off.
How much does a website cost?
A Starter site for a restaurant, shop or other single-location business is from $2,000. New builds from $3,000, rebuilds from $2,500, and moving off Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or GoDaddy from $1,500. Monthly plans start at $300 a month. Scope sets the final price, and you get it in writing first.
What do SEO and AI automation cost?
An SEO site check is from $250, and the fee comes off your build price if you hire me for a build. Single AI automation workflows are from $600 per workflow, a full onboarding system is from $2,400, and an AI chat assistant for your site is from $300. The AI Workflow Audit for private AI is $500, credited in full against a build you buy within 30 days. The pricing page lists everything.
Do you work remotely or only locally?
Websites, SEO, AI automation and private AI are done remotely, so I can work with businesses anywhere in the U.S. I am based in Hollister, CA, and I know the Central Coast. In-home IT support is the one local service, because it means showing up in person.
Am I locked into a contract?
The AI visibility plan is month to month, with no long-term contract. A Starter site is a one-time price, and if I host it, hosting is month to month. For website builds, SEO plans and automation, the terms are in the written scope and price I send before work starts, so you can read them before you agree.
Do you guarantee results?
I guarantee the work, not a ranking. Every plan is measured and reported every week: the work done, your Search Console numbers and the leads that came in. No one can honestly guarantee a Google ranking or an AI recommendation, and Google says so itself.
How fast do you reply?
Within 24 hours. The short form on the contact page is the fastest way to reach me.
In-home IT support
Computers, Wi-Fi, printers and smart TVs, fixed at your home or office. Rates and travel fees are on the pricing page.
Do you charge a travel fee for in-home visits?
No travel fee in Hollister, San Juan Bautista, Gilroy, and Aromas. Beyond that we charge a flat travel fee on top of the standard rate: $30 for Morgan Hill and San Martin, $75 for Salinas, $100 for Marina and Seaside, $125 for Monterey and Carmel, and $200 for Big Sur. The travel fee applies to every visit to that area, including a follow-up visit to install a part.
How quickly can you get to me?
We offer same-week scheduling for most in-home visits, and we respond to every inquiry within 24 hours. In urgent situations, reach out by phone or text at (831) 288-3299 and we'll do our best to accommodate you quickly.
Do you work on both Windows and Mac?
Yes — we work on Windows PCs and laptops, Mac desktops and MacBooks, and most other consumer devices. If you're not sure whether we can help with your specific setup, just ask.
What if my problem can't be fixed in one visit?
Most standard issues (virus removal, network setup, slow computer, data migration) are resolved in one visit of 1–2 hours. Compare that to a drop-off repair shop, where even a diagnosis can take 3–5 days with no access to your computer. If your repair needs a part, we'll order it and schedule a return visit to install it — the return visit is $125 (instead of a full second $175 minimum), plus the travel fee again if you're outside our no-fee zone.
Do you offer remote support?
Yes. For software-only issues we can often fix things remotely over a secure screen-sharing session at $100/hr (1-hour minimum). Remote support is a great option if you need a quick fix and don't want to wait for a home visit.
What cities do you serve for in-home IT support?
No travel fee in Hollister, San Juan Bautista, Gilroy, and Aromas. Beyond that, a flat travel fee applies: $30 for Morgan Hill and San Martin, $75 for Salinas, $100 for Marina and Seaside, $125 for Monterey and Carmel, and $200 for Big Sur. We also serve Santa Cruz, Watsonville, San Jose, and Los Banos with a $100 travel surcharge. Not sure if we cover your area? Give us a call at (831) 288-3299.
How long does virus removal typically take?
Most virus and malware removal visits take 1–2 hours. We do a full scan, remove all threats, patch your operating system, and leave you with recommendations to stay protected going forward.
Can you help seniors or people who aren't tech-savvy?
Yes. I explain things clearly and patiently, without jargon. I've taught in-person tech classes in 55+ communities, and I still run in-person teaching sessions, mainly for 55+ communities. See the in-home IT page for how to book one.
Do you offer ongoing IT support for small businesses?
Yes. We can set up recurring remote or in-person support for small businesses. Reach out to discuss your needs and we'll put together a plan that fits your schedule and budget.
Still have a question?
Ask me directly. I reply within 24 hours, often the same day.
