Web Design for Mt. Juliet, TN Businesses

Mt. Juliet grew 12.1% between April 2020 and July 2024 and sits between two lakes and two highways. I build custom-coded websites for its businesses, remotely from Hollister, California. Mount Juliet or Mt. Juliet, the site answers to both.

  • Same prices in every town

Small details that decide whether Mt. Juliet finds you

  • Two spellings, one city

The city's charter says Mt. Juliet. The U.S. Postal Service says Mount Juliet. Both spellings are in official use, so your site and its search description should carry both. A customer typing either one should still find you.

  • Between I-40 and US 70

Mt. Juliet is about 17 miles east of downtown Nashville. A trades customer here may be next door to Hermitage in Davidson County or to Lebanon in the other direction. A site that says exactly where you go saves a phone call.

  • A county line that matters

Wilson County isn't on Tennessee's home improvement license list. Davidson County is. If your jobs cross that line, your license number and your service area both need to be on the site.

What a Mt. Juliet customer finds on your site

A short page for each service, the towns you cover named in plain words, and a form that takes less than a minute. A landscaper's request shows up with the address and the size of the yard. An HVAC company's request shows up with the system age and whether the home is cooling at all.

I set up Search Console and Analytics on launch day. A page for each spelling is a bad idea, so the one page says both and the search description does too.

How a Mt. Juliet build goes

Estimated timeline Usually 2 to 3 weeks once I have your content

Your service list and a few photos are all I need to start. I quote the timeline with the scope.

  1. Step 1: Tell me about the business

Fill in the short form. It takes about a minute. I ask what you sell and which towns you cover on both sides of the county line. I reply within 24 hours.

    Day 1

  2. Step 2: I plan the pages

You get a page list: one page for each service, and one line naming the towns you cover. Both spellings of the city go in.

    Week 1

  3. Step 3: I build it, you review it

I send a link you open on your phone. You tell me what to change, I change it, and we repeat until you're happy.

    Weeks 1 to 3

  4. Step 4: Launch, then keep going

Search Console and Analytics go in, the sitemap is submitted and the site goes live. The monthly plan starts: updates, a weekly report and new content.

    Launch, then every month

Mt. Juliet in numbers

The Census Bureau estimated Mt. Juliet at 44,066 people on July 1, 2024, up 12.1% from 39,312 in the April 2020 estimates base. That is 4,754 more people. Wilson County, which holds Mt. Juliet and Lebanon, had 175,033 residents on July 1, 2025 and grew 2.8% in the year, according to the Tennessee State Data Center.

In ZIP code 37122, the Census counted 37 HVAC, plumbing and electrical businesses with employees in 2023 (25 plumbing and HVAC, 12 electrical), 28 landscaping businesses and 9 roofing businesses. Those counts leave out businesses with no employees.

Two lakes, two highways

Mt. Juliet sits between Old Hickory Lake to the north and Percy Priest Lake to the south, mostly between Interstate 40 and US 70. It is also a stop on the WeGo Star commuter train between Nashville and Lebanon.

For a website, the geography answers a question customers ask. How far do you travel? A trades page that says you cover Mt. Juliet, Lebanon and east Davidson County is easier to trust than one that says all of Middle Tennessee.

What I'd build for Mt. Juliet trades

These are plans, not past clients.

  • An HVAC company with a repair page at the top of the menu and an install page that asks the age and size of the home.
  • An electrician who works both sides of the Wilson-Davidson line. One page for service upgrades, one for repairs, and a footer line with your license number if you hold one.
  • A landscaper with finished-yard photos, a page for each kind of work and a form that asks the address, so you can see whether it's a Mt. Juliet job before you reply.

Wilson on one side, Davidson on the other

Tennessee's Board for Licensing Contractors says a home improvement license is required for residential work from $3,000 to $24,999, in the counties that adopted that law. Davidson and Rutherford are on its list of nine. Wilson isn't. The contractor license for projects of $25,000 or more applies everywhere in the state.

If you take residential jobs on the Davidson side of the line, ask the Board whether the home improvement license applies to you. I read the Board's pages on October 23, 2026, and they don't answer that question for a contractor based in a different county.

Working with a builder in California

I'm based in Hollister, California. I don't have a Mt. Juliet office or address, and the work doesn't need one. You send photos and details, I send drafts, and we talk on video if that is easier.

One result, from a California client

  • 15 to 20 a month

Quote requests through Limo Scene's site form in August and September 2026 (Google Analytics), after its new domain started at zero in Search Console on April 30, 2026. Limo Scene is a California transportation company, not a Tennessee one. It is one client, and I can't promise your numbers.

Questions people ask

Do you meet in person in Mt. Juliet?

No. I'm based in Hollister, California, and I work remotely by video call, email and text. A site doesn't need an in-person meeting: you send photos and details, I send drafts, and you tell me what to change.

Should my site say Mt. Juliet or Mount Juliet?

Both. The city's charter uses Mt. Juliet and the Postal Service uses Mount Juliet. I write the page with both spellings, rather than building a second page for the other one.

I'm based in Mt. Juliet but take jobs in Nashville. Does the license rule change?

It might. Davidson County is on the Board's list of counties where the home improvement license applies for residential work from $3,000 to $24,999, and Wilson County is not. The Board's pages don't say how that works for a contractor based in a different county, so ask the Board directly.

Do I need a different site from a Lebanon business?

No. A Mt. Juliet business and a Lebanon business can use the same kind of site. What changes is the copy: the towns you name, the service pages you write and the license number you show.
